We want you to love your BODI Candle purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help with straightforward exchanges and returns.


1) Return & Exchange Window

  • Standard: Returns or exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

  • Holiday Extension: Orders placed Nov 1 – Dec 25 may be returned or exchanged until Jan 15.

  • Items must be unused / unburned, in original packaging, with proof of purchase (order #).

Prefer a 30-day policy year-round? You can replace “14 days” with “30 days” before publishing.


2) Eligibility (Candles & Home Fragrance)

To qualify for a refund or exchange, products must be:

  • Unburned / unused (wicks untrimmed; wax level unchanged).

  • In original packaging with all inserts/gift components.

  • Free from wear, residue, fragrance cross-contamination, or pet/human hair.

Not eligible:

  • Used or burned candles, partially burned wicks, or melted/warped items caused by heat exposure after delivery.

  • Final sale / clearance items, gift cards, and custom / personalized items.

  • Opened reed diffusers, oils, or wax melts (unless defective on arrival).


3) Natural Variations (Not Defects)

Our candles are hand-poured with natural soy wax and premium fragrance oils. The following are normal and not considered defects:

  • Frosting / marbling on soy wax, micro air bubbles, or minor surface texture.

  • Wick mushrooming and light soot when wicks are not trimmed to ¼" (6 mm) before each burn.

  • Scent throw differences due to room size, airflow, and personal perception.

  • Minor color variation between batches or from product images.

  • Transit temperature effects (temporary surface sweats/softening) that resolve at room temperature.

4) Damages, Defects & Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete, contact us within 72 hours of delivery:

  • Email hello@bodicandle.com with your order #, description, and clear photos of the shipping box, label, inner packing, and the item(s).

  • We will replace or refund the affected item(s) at no cost to you.

  • Keep all packaging until your case is resolved.


5) Exchanges (Scent/Style)

Changed your mind on a scent or style and the candle is unused? We’re happy to help:

  • Exchanges are processed after the original item is received and inspected.

  • For faster service, we can create a new order and refund the original once returned.

  • Shipping costs for preference-based exchanges are the customer’s responsibility.


6) Bundles, Sets & Gifts

  • Bundles/Sets (e.g., 2/4/8-Pack): Must be returned complete and unopened to receive a full refund.

    • If a partial set is returned, we may either decline the return or refund at the non-discounted unit price, less any promotional value received.

  • Gifts: If you received a gift, refunds are issued to the original payment method. We can facilitate exchanges to a new address upon request (unused items only).


7) How to Start a Return or Exchange

  1. Email hello@bodicandle.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

  2. Repack items securely in the original packaging (including any gift components).

  3. Use the return address and instructions provided in your RMA email.

  4. Upon receipt and inspection, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Your bank may require additional time to post the credit.

Returns sent without an RMA or to an incorrect address may be delayed or refused.


8) Return Shipping & Fees

  • Change-of-mind returns and preference-based exchanges: customer pays return shipping.

  • Damaged/defective/incorrect items: BODI covers replacement or return shipping.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.


9) Wrong / Undeliverable Address

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, we can reship (additional postage applies) or refund minus shipping after the parcel is returned and inspected.


10) International Orders (if applicable)

  • Duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are non-refundable.

  • Transit times and carrier policies vary by destination and are outside our control.


11) Safety & Care Reminder

For best performance and safety:

  • Trim wick to ¼" (6 mm) before each burn.

  • Burn on a heat-safe, level surface, away from drafts and out of reach of children/pets.

  • Allow the first burn to create a full melt pool edge-to-edge to reduce tunneling.

  • Do not burn more than 4 hours at a time; stop use when ½" (12 mm) of wax remains.

Improper use or failure to follow care instructions may void eligibility for refunds on “performance” concerns.
